36 Minute Interview with Diamond Dallas Page

Whenever I get the chance to hang out with my buddy Diamond Dallas Page – you can bet that the time limit will exceed the length of any normal interview. It’s been a while since I had the chance to see Diamond Dallas Page in person and while we remain in contact, I always find myself amazed at his motivation and dedication to stay active and take on a slew of new projects while finding time to help others and make a difference in the lives he touches.

You may all know DDP as the former WCW Champion who headlined multiple pay per views against the infamous n.W.o, and at times with help from celebrity tag team partners such as Karl Malone and Jay Leno. But since retiring from the ring, DDP has actively pursued a career in professional fitness through his own designed Full Impact Workout System (originally designed as YRG – Yoga For Regular Guys). At his age, Dallas is still able to run circles around some of the youngest and most fit athletes competing in the business today. But as I mentioned before, Dallas’ passion isn’t just about bettering himself – it’s about helping other people better themselves.

In the first part of this interview, Page discusses his recent projects and some of the inspirational stories of how he’s been a part of some of his fans physical life changing experiences.

Now, I’m sure that there are plenty of you out there who remember when DDP was rocking the wrestling world and dropping his opponents in the middle of the ring with his patented Diamond Cutter. So maybe his latest ventures into the world of health and fitness might not necessarily be your cup of joe. All you’re interested in is hearing about “wrasslin'”… I hear ya. I know you’re thinking to yourself, “Come On DieHard. We’re talking to DDP! Don’t get all Oprah on us! Let’s get some dirt from the squared circle”.

As if I didn’t know you any better – that’s why I split this interview up into two parts! Part two of our sit down covers some highlights of the twilight of his career, but we also spend time talking about the death of his close personal friend Chris Kanyon, the failed WCW Invasion angle and some insight on some of the new stars of this wrestling generation such as Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton. Now it’s time for you to feel the bang!
